When planning for your financial future, it's easy to think of the things you want to achieve.
But it's just as important to think about what you DON'T want to happen.
Life is full of uncertainty and risks. Insurance is one of many tools for managing risks.
Chances are, you'll spend tens of thousands of dollars per year in insurance premiums over your life.
Insurance can be the best money you ever spend.
But it's also easy to spend too much in insurance.
The purpose of this course is to explain what personal insurance is, what it does, and the main types of insurance that people take out. After going through this course, you'll have a good grasp of:
- How insurance fits within the context of managing the risks you're exposed to.
- The risks the main types of personal insurance cover.
- Factors that influence how much insurance you might need.
- Things to consider when engaging an insurance adviser.
This course is currently free, although at some point in the near future I will update it substantially and start charging a nominal fee.
